Youth Counselling

Service Description

Youth counselling provides a safe, supportive space for tamariki and rangatahi to work through challenges such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, behavioural difficulties, family or school stress, neurodivergence, domestic violence, and identity. Sessions are inclusive of rainbow and diverse cultural experiences, paced to the young person’s needs, and focused on building emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, counselling supports confidence, healthy relationships, and self-understanding, while involving whānau where appropriate.
