Appointments
Yes, you are welcome to bring a support person with you to your sessions if it makes you feel more comfortable. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring someone along.
When you arrive, you’re welcome to take a seat in the waiting area. Your counsellor will come and get you when they’re ready.
In your first session, we’ll go through a consent form and chat about what’s brought you to counselling. We’ll talk about your needs, goals, and any concerns, so we can work together to make a plan that feels right for you.
You can contact the counsellor directly through email or the phone number provided in their profile, or through info@waihicounselling@gmail.com provide your contact details so they can arrange an appointment with you.
Yes, most of our counsellors offer online counselling sessions for clients who prefer remote therapy.
Parking is available on-site at our counselling center. And there is additional parking behind the building.
